Correct Soccer Kicking Technique

in football for about 8 months and I am 14 years old.my other players get a very powerful kick?
I am 14 years old and am football {} Not American football for about 8 months. my fellow teammates get a very, very strong impact with its desired height. But I am the only one who doesnot have power and height in my kick. My teammates showed me the right technique to the soccer kick. she showed me how they kicked the ball. I have tried your technique but it did not help me. One of them told me that I didnot have power in my legs. he told me to build leg muscle. I am currently Jogging every day to build up in the morning my legs muscles. Pls can tell me the exercises I should do in order to buid the legs muscles. and yes, I workout in the gym for runnig the cycle. and please tell me the diet I should be in a regular development of the muscles. and I am a vegetarian.
